Research has shown that Neem Seed Oil is a very effective antiseptic, antifungal, antibacterial, antiviral agent. Neem oil has been used for hundreds of years in Indian medicine to assist in the healing of skin disorders including eczema, psoriasis, rashes, burns and acne.
Neem seed oil is also considered to be a natural insect repellent. It has a very strong odor that is often described as a blend of nut and garlic - most people don't mind the scent, so we just leave this soap alone, and don't try to overpower or cover it. Luckily, it washes away with the bubbles, leaving behind all the benefits with none of the smell! It has antibacterial, antimicrobial, antiviral and antifungal properties. This soap has a job to do and boy, does it work hard!
All of our hand-crafted soaps are made with the same nourishing oils of Olive/Rice Bran, responsibly sourced palm, coconut, and castor. Some specialty soaps do contain nourishing herbs, creamy butters, organic clays, soothing flowers, phthalate free fragrances, essential oils, and other natural ingredients to make them stand out from our regular bar.
